I am working on an animated movie being made with this engine.
I don't want to call it "Machinima" though, because it doesn't use a game to make it. (just the engine)
So, technically according to the definition of machinima, my movie doesn't fit the term.
Check out my
puppet script for controlling your characters, and that thread has a camera lift and other scripts in there too.
Maybe some of that will help, and if not, I will be sharing my new scripts once the movie is done.
I have often pondered what it would be like if someone modded this engine for "machinima", and even if the animations were extended for gestures.
It could really be a totally new product built off of this engine, but I haven't had the time to get good enough at DBPro to pull it off.
My only suggestions were going to be about the room size and the lighting, but they have already been mentioned.
Good luck with this, and I am looking forward to see what you come up with next.

That video was very cool.
Having new animations added to the stock would be critical to the success of machinima using this engine, since it mainly has animations for combat.
