This is with the U73 Editor and codesurge editor. If I open up the help files they open and show the HTML code not the actual help files. The old DBP editor shows them normally. No other programs I have do this and DBP is up to date, does anyone know anything about this!

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Darkbasic Pro?

No I don't really want to go through that but it may be worth a try if all else fails.

This is what comes up when I start the help files

This is a bit of a long shot, but what happens if you browse to one of the .htm files in the Help folder and open it? Does it open with Internet Explorer or something like NotePad?

I use firefox and I can do that and it opens like it should so I can use the help files that way if I need to. I would just like to know why they don't open in the IDE like they should. I have gone through all the IDE settings and can't find anything out of whack there!
