Hi guys

Making great progress with DB Pro.. or I would be if it wasn't for a very annoying problem I've got.

I'm writing code, saving my project, but then DB Pro won't save it all. Fortunately, suspecting it would do this the last time I closed down, I copied all my code out to Notepad first. But it's still doing it!

And it almost randomly seems to be forgetting the project name halfway through using my PC and resetting it to untitled.dba. What the hell is going on?!

I'm using the ad-supported DB Pro on Windows 7. I've searched elsewhere on the forum and a few other people seemed to have the same problem, but this was a few years ago and there weren't any confirmed resolutions posted. Help!!

With thanks as always

I have no idea. You could try another IDE (editor) like Codesurge (look for it at the top of the Program Announcements board). It has to be some kind of bug in the default IDE.

The blurb on Codesurge says it protects against code loss compared to the normal editor.. so I'll definitely give this a shot! Thanks as always, didn't even know it was possible to use another editor.
