when ever i try to run my game in the alien ware dbpro demo i keep getting the error "d3d9.dll was not found", the program was first made in db classic although there should be no problem converting it because it use only basic commands. I have reinstalled it several time but the only get the same result. can any one help me?

my comp is a win XP 2GHz, 384MB RAM, Geforce3 Ti 500

P.S. can any tell me if this well also be able to do the advanced 3d apperance command.

got directx 9.0b runtime that should do it right, on the subject on shaders and stuff are there any tut for them e.g. for set cartoon shading on i have no idea what the shade and edge image are or what there serposed to look like

new question now i says the command at line 492 is obselete but the command is "texture backdrop 105" which is in the help so i guess it must still be used?

TEXTURE BACKDROP is obsolete - create a sky box/sphere instead and texture that.

Texture backrop is obselete,

use skyboxes instead

another cpnverting problem these are all using the same code in db the guy moves fine but in dbpro he doesn't and in the dbpro version looks so much duller
i see if i can get some screen shots up here
