go import, direct x file. then go into program files, the game creators, fps creator, files, gamecore, guns and then choose the folder of the gun you want to use and open the hud.x file

hope that helped

No dont do that as that will make the model lose ALL anim. data.

Your going to need fragmotion AND Milkshape for this:

1. Open Fragmo
2. Import your HUD.x file from gamecore/guns/yourgun folder (as said above). Fragmo retains the anim. data whereas Milkshape doesnt.
3. Export the Fragmotion file as an MS3D file.
4. Open Milkshape
5. Open the MS3D file you just made with Fragmo.

Thats it. Your guns in Milkshape with all its animation data saved as-is

Cheers,
Anayar

Hey, about the PP2000 you had requested

I don't usually do this but since I'm already doing it for someone else I'm having a go at making it for you.

Here's how it's looking so far

I'll have it set to the same animations as the stock colt 45 (so it's 1 handed)

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

I reject your reality and substitute my own...

I've got it textured and into fps creator, but I'm having the same problem I alway do with weapons (certain parts of the modeling being invisible)

I'll see if I can find a way to fix it

If you want to send it to me I can take a crack at fixing it! Nice texture btw, but the model looks a bit too boxy (IK, I shouldnt be talking lol)

Anayar

Ac3d for making the actual gun, then milkshape for animating it.

I know how to fix it, but I need to find out how to do something else in milkshape before I can.

Some of the faces on the model are inside out (so they are see through). In milkshape I can fix some of them by going face/reverse vertex order

The problem I'm having is that I can't select all of the faces as some of them are not selectable on any of the xyz views (the three viewing and editing screens) To my knowledge it isn't possible to modify the model using the 3d screen so I'm pretty much stuck.

You can select faces in the 3D Viewport by holding alt and clicking (ALT+ LMC). Make sure the select>face>by vertex option is selected

Thanks anayar

hmm, this is quite an annoying situation, sice it's selecting by the vertices it also selects other faces which are facing correct, therefore making bigger holes
