I just test the demo and it would be useful for all FPSC user and I think the noob also can use this too because this tool is so so easy to use.Well done S4 real

any way to get the more-than-one-exe-included thing we "demand" in the other thread? would be great for chapters or including multi- and singleplayer-maps into the same launcher. i would pay 20€ for something like that if its possible

Very nice work, s4real. The interface is very user-friendly. it is nice to be able to select your images and save your theme.

This is a nice addition to the arsenal of applications for game developers. Great job.

Just want to be sure about this, will you be updating this or is this the only version? I know that the first post says that their will be free updates but I remember seeing somewhere that there will be no more because of copycat software.

OK, I know it is probably obvious, but is this just a launcher for your game; or does it pack it in a way that the game can't be edited later by the player? Basically, is it a 1 file distro after processing, or will it unpack with all the files like normal with just a couple of visual improvements?

@jcleaver :- Its just a launcher but if you want to protect ya files you can download vishnu packer for that.

UPDATE :-

Working on an auto detect direct x9 and if its not installed it will install direct x9.

Looking into adding multiplayer as well.

Native is the screen resolution your desktop set at so that was added instead of higher res settings.

Each Vishnu application performs a task on its own and therefore all can work together. The launcher is just that- a launcher interface for your game. Vishnu Packer is the packager to protect the built game. Vishnu Lock is used to package the game with a serial(s).

In other words, here is a step-by-step of how to do this:

1. Build your game in FPSC
2. Use Vishnu Launcher to create your launcher interface
3. Use Vishnu Packer to pack the game and launcher
4. Use Vishnu Lock to package the output from step 3, which allows you to apply serial(s).

The manuals are also very straight forward to how they work and what to do for each application.

How would this be a great feature? Not everyone uses the GUI-X9 "feature" and I for one fail to understand what exactly would be the benefit. I thought the GUI-X9 stuff was for menus in the game. This is a launcher, two different things. Perhaps you could expand on this.

Yes you can use gui x9 as its to edit fpsc menus and this is a launcher.

I have taken note what you would like to see in the next version.

It seems that when packing a game with Vishnu Packer after using the launcher, it becomes unable to load the menu images or at least the main menu.

Do you think this will be fixed by sometime before December 4th? I was planning on using it in may game. Also, it isn't just the images, most of everything won't work when you pack a game that has been vishnu packed. (i.e. buttons, images, etc...)
