Are there any fonts I can use in DBP that will space out the characters a tiny bit and also put some distance between each line. The default font crams everything together and a lot of other fonts I have tried just look really weird in the editor.

Try "Courier New"? It's a standard font on most PC's and spaces all characters evenly.

Not sure if that's quite what you meant...

I use courier new at size 8. Very easy to read. Plus I've used it for over 20 years now.
