Hi. It\'s my first post and I\'m kinda lost. Is this the right place to ask some questions about the work I\'m doing? There are a few things I\'m having difficulty with.

Thanks.

But you know, it's funny that the biggest doubt I had cleared away when I started to think a bit...

Anyway, how do I make the characther go from a level to an other? With portals?

Actually you want to use a win zone, which when the player enters it will go to the next level. Or you can set an enemy as an objective so when dies it goes to the next level.

the levels and their order are set in the (file-build game) menu. this will only happen in a built game not when testing in the editor.

Check out my tutorial here:

Thanks, raymondlee306. I've just received the full version, and I'll try to do it. I believe it will be easy, the free version didn't had the win zone. Now, I'm having lots of trouble, because the maps in the free version won't open in the full one. And when I try to make it new, I use the same prefabs, but they are very different from the other ones.

When you get the full version you get new prefabs.

My plan for today: 1. Wake up. 2. Live 3. Go to sleep.

I know, I just thought it was possible to use the old maps.

Anyway, how can I put one object on top of another? If I want to put a book on top of a table?

Move the entity into/under the item you want to put it on, and hit Enter. Or right click the object, move it around with the arrow keys for precise positioning and use the Page Up/Down keys to move it vertically.

Thanks, it's one of the things I was needing to learn! Now I'll have to try it a few times, so I learn to use it with precision.

Just for a bit of direction so you don't have to wait for answers, a lot of these questions can be answered in your manuals and guides. The community has put together some great stuff with guides on how to do great things with this engine. you can find them in your FPS Creator/Docs folder and even some FAQ's located in the stickys above. Hope that helps on your FPSC journey.

You're right, I should have read it. By the way, does it say anything how to delete a door? I'm having troubles with one and i want to erase it. I can erase other things, but not a door.

usually you just choose the same door that your trying to erase from your segments, and instead of left clicking it to put it down, you right click on the door your trying to erase.
