Newcomers DBPro Corner / Old or New Editor !?!?

Hi Folks

Just purchased the online DBpro & installed. A quick test showed an editor with the right half of the screen being a help window...

I then installed dbproupdate-U761 and was greeted with a completely different editor !?. No help window and a blank Untitled1.dba window that takes over most of the screen ('output' at the bottom and 'solution explorer' to the left).

Which is the old and which is new ????. I tried the run as administrator tip yet it changed nothing.

I'm running Windows Vista64...

the new one is the one with no help window and a blank untitled.dba.

the help files can still be accessed via F1 and the code in the example program section of the help file will compile and run by pressing f5, you don't need to load anything else.

you can also find help for specific commands by clicking the command in the code window and pressing f1. very helpful.

so don't stress about the absence of the help window, it's all still there, its just on another tab.
