This is the chat section and he's chattin'.

If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to plan your entire game out ahead - before you start making it - so you have a map to follow and you won't get stuck or loose interest. I think there's a game outline in the community guide, but if not just google one.

Infestation seems like a fine name. Good luck.

If you want to start small and get your feet wet, just plan out a level or two or perhaps a mini-game. There's nothing wrong with that and it's a confidence builder to get something completed. Not to mention the learning experience.

Brian.

As Brian said; this is for actual chat or talk, screenshots are not required here (though you can obviously include them if you wish).

I've never seen a room quite like that throughout all my travels, but then I've never been to Cyberspace as your location says you're from. Even if such a room as this is common there, you may want to make a smaller version just for the sake of keeping the frame rate up and making the look of the game more recognizable to others. It would be rather uncommon for such a large room to have a low ceiling and even more uncommon for the ceiling to be made of floor tiles. Think reality, unless your going for fantasy, in which case I would be more obvious about it.

When you've got more of the game done, look up the rules and start a thread in the "Work in Progress" section so you can get help and input.

Happy Game Making.

not only for game-making, remind this:

the name of anything comes through what happens, not in reverse.
dont try to build something around a word, its just a word.

think about what you wanna do (something with zombies and gore and blood for example). now you need a more or less interesting story in a more or less interesting world ("more or less" is up to your intention to do something special or not), transported trough a method (writing, gamemaking, drawing a picture, make music etc.) in a more or less interesting way.

out of this the (more or less interesting) title is born sooner or later. titling is a process, not a start of anything.

"infestation", yeah, sure it leads to zombies sooner or later in modern ways of thinking^^
its good for reminding your product, but, for my 2 cents, more ordinary than extraordinary.
