Thanks Dodga. I made this one a while ago, but since my computer crashed and I lost my Nazi Zombie source I decided to upload this. It was on a flash drive of mine.

Things that are awesome about this:

It runs fast and smooth
The mechanics are solid and the controls are intuitive
The graphics are nice
The shotgun sounds and feels meaty and awesome. The screen shake is great. What algorithm did you you for it?
The zombies feel quite dangerous
No complicated menus to get through -drops you right in and you can press F1 if you want. This is quite refreshing!

Things that could be better:

You can get a high score with no fuss by camping out in a safe spot. If you were to make more of this, or a simalar game again (i'd recommend it!), try to have some kind of mechanic that drives the player to run around more, and camp less. A multiplier or bonnus for killing stuff quickly, dropping ammo that the player needs to move to go and collect, having no "safe" spots, having to move constantly because of rising water, blood, epic zombie horde coming from the side etc.

Also more weapons would be cool, characters. Maybe have another character with a light saber, and another one with a big machine gun or something.

Looks like your "sprite guy" got in a bit earlier.

If you made it in DGDK then why do you have .gmres (Game Maker RESource) files included with your project?

Also your F1 help box is the exact same setup as the Game Maker help box.

Because the game was originally his, I have to include the freeware that he gave me. It was the agreement that we came to. I could use his sprites/sounds if I included his info and resources

I'm still suspicious of the help menu, and the game runs fine if you delete the resource files so that seems pointless to me. To be honest, I won't believe you wrote this until I see a little bit of source code.

Hmmm, I will remain stubborn and say this is made with Game Maker. Also your youtube name is GMakerPro, which doesn't really help your case.

P.S. I know the term "game maker" doesn't necessarily refer to the program Game Maker. But, in your case it seems to.

You can't even show us like one of your functions? Like let's the the pixel by pixel scrolling function you have.

The thing is, with DarkGDK, I've not seen anyone have the ability to zip all the files up into one executable.
I know DBPro and GameMaker have this ability, so it throws the whole thing into question. Having the the gamemaker resources in the project folder makes it even more suspicious.

Plus the fact that you pop out games like its going out of style,
It's all very suspicious.
If you haven't noticed, people around here don't finish games that fast.

And I have not made it to where it doesnt need the other images or sounds to load them. I simply have them hidden. Its not hard to do just be smart so others cant steal your work.

Okay, so let me get this straight, for a 2d game you are loading 3d objects? dbLoadObject("player.x", 2);

2d objects only get loaded through images or sprites. Also that return at the end is exit the game, it honestly looks like you just copied and pasted the sample game from the wizard.

Sorry to be harsh man, not trying to be a douche, but I call it like I see it. You would use none of the commands in that code you just pasted to create a 2d game. You have no need to rotate the camera for a 2d game, load 3d objects, or have objects rotating in 3d space. It would all be sprite commands, I call BS.

Thanks for the source code! Now you proved that you didn't write this game.

1. The camera is NEVER rotated in game but your code rotates it on X and Z axis if the respective arrow key is pressed.
2. Your sample code includes the entire main loop and it doesn't manage collision, enemies or really anything else in the game.
3. There are no hidden files in your game's folder.
4. What Dodga already mentioned.

I just redownloaded his zombie alley game too, same story, it looks like he used the same template for the help menu and everything. Copying and pasting is so hard to do in c++ natively, but if you notice in his zombie alley game, you can highlight text in the info screen.

Also whats the big deal about hiding your game assets? Do you really think people are that desperate to rip these kind of graphics off? No, the real deal, is you used GameMaker, and wanna act like you coded the games, when you didnt.

Real coding takes alot of time and dedication, and it's really kind of a slap in the face to all the rest of us who work VERY hard to program everything ourselves to come in here and try to pawn off gamemaker games as c++ games.

Making games with GameMaker is fine, got nothing against it, but it's not exactly the same thing as coding everything yourself.

It's like saying you painted the mona lisa, when really all you did is do a paint by numbers of the mona lisa.

The sad part is I think you are good at making games, it doesnt matter what you use, a game is a game, just be honest about the method.

Lol you are completely right, this is freakin outlandish. It honestly makes me sick there are people out there that will take credit for other people's work, and for what? Just the good feelings you get from total strangers telling you your non creation is awesome?

It's like people cheating in online games, like do you feel better about yourself now that other people think you are good? No matter what other people think, you have to go home and deal with the reality of yourself. Have fun with that.

You know, if he spent the same amount learning to program as he did faking this game then he could have a small prototype of an original game ready. Oh well, he won't last long here
