I've been beating my head against the monitor (so to speak) trying to get the scifi lightswitch2 transparent. I don't
own a CS version of Adobe PS so I can't just do what I please to try and get this to work.

If anyone can make me an invisible version of that texture, I would be forever grateful. Its the only thing holding me back right now in my game.

OK you want to make the lightswitch completely invisible, you dont need to change the original texture, any transparent texture will do, heck you dont even need to use the lightswitch itself.
You want fully transparent or semi transparent?
Are you wanting just the case of the switch transparent or the whole thing? including the lights.

If you want the whole thing transparent you could use a plane and apply transparent texture and use a simple switch script to operate. The switch your using uses an alt texture when on/off.

If you want to use the lights on/off then yes....you need to edit both textures for it to work.

I have attached a 64x64 transparent texture for you to use if you want the whole switch invisible but if you use this switch you will need to change both lines in the fpe that point to the original and the alt to this one

Thank you Rolfy. Most entities use DDS and it bugs me that they are a pain to get transparent. In answer to your question, I wanted
off of it to be completely see through. I also know that switch has the script to alternate textures. I will just set both as
the same texture.

I'm been in such a creative rush that I've lost my sense on some of the other things of FPSC. I totally forgot that I could
alter the .fpe!

Well I specifically wanted that model because it sticks to walls and entities and it was easy for me to spot in the map
overview but at the same time didn't overcrowd anything.

I will try what you've said and see how it goes.

Well, Rolfy, changing the .FPE file in part with your file and me making a copy of it worked. It is fully transparent!
I bought some stuff from you in the store and I was planning to credit you in the game at the end but now I get to put a special
thank you for helping me out in this little situation I put myself in.

Thanks dude.

*I guess a mod could lock this thread if they so desired*
