Hi there.

First: Sorry for my english and sorry if this post is misplaced.

I just bought the Dark Game Studio Bonanza (Awaiting Approval payment for now, np for that) but i have a question, is the FPS Creator FREE included is complete to build a standalone exe game ? or i have to bought another version ?

And second question : Is it possible to transform a .dae + diffuse, normal and specular texture of the dae into an entity like a object or a statue ?

Thanks for your reply.

Hello WorldBot! Is this your first post on the TGC forums?

At least for your first question, you've posted in the right place!

Congratulations on your Dark Game Studio (also known as DGS - you'll find that most of us forum users use acronyms wherever possible) purchase! I got it a few months back as well.

For your first question, the answer is a no. However, there are two options you have that will allow you to get it to build a standalone .exe game.

-----------

Option 1: Purchase the "Build Game Upgrade" from the Game Creator Store (aka GCS), included with your DGS purchase! This will allow FPS Creator FREE to build standalone .exe games.
COST: $20 (USD)

-----------

Option 2: Purchase the full version of FPS Creator. There are no additional purchases required, however, purchasing some Model Packs is HIGHLY reccommended; it keeps FPSC from getting boring.

COST: $50
OR
$30 IF you buy the FPS Creator Bonanza Pack (has full version of FPSC and 9 model packs!)

I chose option 2 because I believe you get a WHOLE LOT more entities, segments, and characters if you buy the whole version rather than upgrade the free version (probably why the upgrade is a lot cheaper).

As for your second question, I don't know.

As for your english, it looks alright. As long as us forum users can UNDERSTAND what is being said, then we don't really mind misspellings or stuff.

Happy game building!

Yes first post.

Ok for the FPSC and yes for the option 2, it's the best option i will buy that.

Tanks for the reply Captain Coder

Edit: I can can open my collada files + their textures in blender 2.58a, just i have to found a descent and easy way to export them for FPSC.
