I heard people on this forum talking about a bad translation of a video game from japanese to english. One of the lines was "All your base are belong to us".

When I stumbled upon this link, I thought that I'd better post it here so that those people can watch it.

I never played the game myself, but this amuses me nonetheless.

i wouldn't worry about it Jess, i never thought that the "All you base belong to us" is particularly funny either.
still don't understand why it becamse such a big thing, i know of worse translated games... there was an rpg on snes akin to Final Fantasy III/VI from russia that all they did was literally use the english word for thier own - it was like trying to read a bablefish translation. totally amusing but then you'd get like 3-4pages of chat and it'd end up seeming like torture.

Oh well. Some people liked them, even if the DBP forum people don't. I like them because they are weird. Weird things amuse me.

I've seen all of those pictures of signs and stuff that says "all your base are belong to us." I stubled on a website with all those pictures...I was confused.

I've also seen that mario movie (I find it funny because a have a working copy of that game)

Hey, the idea is really funny. I like it when people take this piss out of something. The only thing wrong with it is the crap music and poor animation .... uhhh ....

Seriously though, the concept is cool, it's just really badly done. I couldn't watch it all the way through though. Is the ending any good?

Insiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!

My kind, now shut the F*ck up about calling me and my mother inbred... Lol...

But seriously, i never new about it till this thread was made... Its odd... Not funny at all, and extremely annoying music. and the other ones (i noly watched a few) were just as crappy. I'm glad i never knew about them...

But, each to their own...

The song is good, the Laziest Men from Mars did a number of songs that come from the NES era.
