Well 2Beastmode4u did the same thing, and i was feeling generous.. Just accept it! XD

Quote: "can we use these in a commerical game to?"

That's why i said read the "Read Me" files! The blood you can just make sure to credit me somewhere
The segment pack no, sadly.. I can not let people use them commercially because i did not make the textures..

EDIT - I just thought of a cool idea (THIS IS OPTIONAL), But if you download the Segment Pack and use it in your game post a screenshot! It will help promote your game, and i can see how my pack looks in different ways. Just an idea though

Happy Birthday mate! Hope you have a blast!

Thanks for the high quality media!!

By the way as a gift from me to you, I am offering you 2 guns to be rigged onto any animation set! Just note that you NEED to own the model and the texture.

Happy birthday, and thanks for these. If these aren't for commercial use, I'm sure they'll be usefull for prototyping levels.

Your Readme says that these are not your work; yet you say they are in your post. I've removed the downloads; you are also on post moderation.

It does not matter. The readme clearly stated:

The first item clearly states he did not make them. So if that is the case and they are being distributed, where did they come from and what is the rights/license for usage from where they came from? The point is, regardless what one puts in their readme for usage, the original artist's licence/readme/request overrides the person who redistributes. This not only protects the artist, but also protects the user that distributes and the user(s) that use the material. If the artist that created these does allow said media to be distributed, then it *should* also be included in the readme.

Thanks, and that's what i thought everyone could use them for!

1. Yes these are not my work
2. I stated that i made these, meaning i put together the segment. I did not mean that i made the texture..
3. There should have been No reason for you to remove the blood pack link as i DID make those. As i stated i made them in Photoshop..
4. I don't really understand what i did wrong? My first segment pack never got this type of comment?

Quote: "happy birthday Exu."

Thanks 2Beastmode4u!

@Blackfox - So pretty much what your saying is that since i do not have permission to distribute these, i can not distribute them? I thought i put enough information in the Read Me? I don't really get this though? It's not like im selling anything, i just made them FPSC ready and i felt other people could use them PERSONALLY. Meaning not distribute them or sell them. What's the difference between me putting the textures in this pack, and the people finding the textures online like i did?

@AbdulAhad - Thanks for the email, and i do have a skype but im never on it. And i don't really remember my username/password/etc..

Thanks for the comments though guys!

Keith can you please put the download back up for the Blood Pack? Thanks!

You should put the information in the readme, such as where the textures came from or perhaps the licence/readme info from the location you got these at. This way you are covered, and so are the people that use them, if an issue arises. Regardless if you state not to use them commercially, there is NO indication from the creator what is or is not allowed. How does one know whether they were allowed to be used in a game? Perhaps the author does not want them distributed. Get where I am heading? Providing as much information as you can is better for you and everyone that uses them. This way nothing can come back and bite you.

The difference is people would have had to find out themselves what is allowed/not allowed from the location the textures came from instead.

Unless you have permission to distribute media from other artists, you should not be distributing it. Other forum members have done the same prior to you and have had their posts removed.

So pretty much what i did for my last segment pack? Alright i understand now, next time i won't make the same mistake..

That's true, i never really thought of it that way..

Sorry for going off topic, but i was wondering if you knew how i could get permission to to use a texture from a game that is from like the 90's? (15 years old or so) (Unreal) If you stalk through all of my post's i made boxes/crates that looked like the crates in Unreal and i really want to release them on my website. How might i go about setting up the read me or anything else i need to make sure i don't get in trouble and i can release them without problems?

UPDATE - Since my blood pack has been removed from my post, you can still get it from my website. Just click my banner and it will bring you right to it!
