Hi,

I have just installed darkbasicpro on my pc (free version, i entered my code to make it fully verified) and run the latest update (i am using windows 7 64 bit)

I loaded a demo program which came with the software. (roomdemo)

the program comipled fine

i run the program and i got a black screen for about 1 second and then it went back to the editor.

the last thing it says when it compiles is

compilation successful

Any ideas ?

If i run the .exe from the folder i also get a black window screen and then it vanishes

Every program i compile and run does the same thing, i get a black window for a second and then it exits back to windows.

PLEASE does anyone have any ideas ?

Are you running the 7.7 beta, or the latest from the website? (which is 7.6 )

I used to have a problem like this with the FFDShow codec. It used to activate from DB and then crash it. I re-installed my codecs, and that fixed the problem.

I have experienced something similar with Windows 7, but only with a certain project; I'm still figuring out what is causing the problem.
