Hi, all TGC forum members! I have a question, and is't kind of a noob sort. Which program do you use in making models and entities because i saw Bootlicks tutorial with milkshape 3D, fragmotion and UVmaster. One with holographic sight.

But there he didn't explained how to make a FPSC ready model.

To make 3d models, you can use a program like milkshape, blender, wings 3d, ac3d, google sketchup, truespace, carrara, 3ds max, maya.. the list goes on.

Programs like: lithunwrap, unfold3d and uvmapper are used to set the texture coordinates of the model (essentially it's making a map of your model so it can have colour)

Programs like: Fragmotion and Milkshape (milkshape does lots) are used for animating the model.

That tutorial wasn't meant to show you how to make an fpsc ready model, nothing would have suggested that.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

Well, I'm really sorry, but search didn't find exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, though.
