AppGameKit Classic Chat / Mac OS X AGK Player Error

I started the Mac OS X AppGameKit Player.
I then compiled, run and broadcast the SmackIt game example.
The Mac OS X AppGameKit Player displays an error message: "LAST ERROR Tried to flush data on an unconnected socket"

How do I resolve this error? Thanks.

It means a network connection was closed whilst it was sending data. Does it happen every time you run the player?

Do you know if the above "unconnected socket" error has been resolved now? I am getting it with the Mac AppGameKit player every time I try to broadcast an app. Pls help.

I got this error when my firewall didn't allow the AppGameKit player through. Adding it to my firewall's whitelist solved this error for me.

We've also improved our networking code in 105 to produce at the very least a better error message. The solution in all cases of this error message is to allow or switch off (NR) your firewall and allow two way communication between the compiler and the AppGameKit Player.
