Hello,
i don't even know if a v8 will be released, but anyway i have a suggestion.

I started with DB a few years ago, made a break a year ago and got into c++.
While i was starting with DB, i was programming with VB. So, that time back, in comparison with VB i thought allways DB has a good coding style.
But now, i took a look again on DB. And now, since i'm into c++, i have to say DB has one of the most ugliest style i've ever seen.

I mean, there are not even Codeblocks or something. (Or did i miss something?)
Hope you could improve that syntax a lil bit on the next bigger RC.

Best regards.

It will eventually I'm sure but Darkbasic Pro is going to stay with the Basic syntax. If you want a C++ syntax then get Dark GDK.

Now isn't that nice that you post one message asking for a c++ syntax for Darkbasic Pro and you actually get your wish instantly.

Here's the Dark GDK form where you can learn how to use it with C++:

DarkGDK isn't as well supported as darkbasic, however.

Be a little adventurous then - download and compile the DGDK source code yourself and modify it to your needs.

Woah, you can do that? Awesome, it'd be nice to try,
