Hi.
I am having problems downloading VISUAL C++ 2010 inorder for the DARKGDK to work.
It gets to 58mb out of 145mb but then just freezes. I am on WINDOWS 7 ... "can anyone help please?.

What version of VS are you trying to install?

I don't think we can help with download problems, since that has nothing to do with Dark GDK and can have many causes. Just a few tips:

If your browser can do it, suspend the frozen download and then resume again, it might help.
Try downloading with a different browser.
Use a download manager program.
Try downloading another large file, to see if it's a general problem with big files or only with this one. If everything fails, try to contact your ISP.

If you only need Visual Studio for Dark GDK, you may be better off downloading the 2008 Express version (as stated in the Dark GDK system requirements). You can still migrate to 2010 later if you need to. The 2008 version can be found on the Microsoft site in the products menu, under "legacy products". Here is a direct link.
