I am working on a game involving lots of custom media, and need a way to protect media files such as 3d models, images, and music.
I am aware that no protection system is unbreakable, but what are some good (and speedy) ways of this?

Hi there. Time ago I saw somewhere in this forum a piece of code that use a rar file with password. That could be a solution and only you could open it.

Cheers.

There's also a way of adding multiple media to a memblock and saving the memblock. I saw that somewhere but can't remember. That way you could just reload your memblock and grab the media from it. If that was done in chunks for say, necessary levels, then it's not one huge file. You can also encrypt it with a very simple algorithm.

I wouldn't worry about protecting anything till you're done with the game because other things may stop you from finishing the game (like focusing on media security instead of the actual game).
