The Particles system included in AppGameKit seems very complete. I think it's the FORTE of AGK.
Is it based on some existent industry standard system like with Box2d for Physx?

To make good particle effects one has a lot of commands to play with and tweak, and being able to have some kind of external editor tool to see results on the fly in realtime would be great.

Thanks, it's all written from scratch.

This may be something we offer in future. Or maybe a user would like to write an AppGameKit app that has controls for the particle parameters?

If the particles system is custom for agk then the only option is that some good hearted user makes some nice app where one can use sliders to alter all params and see effects in realtime.

would be a good project!

Idea: Or maybe you can make a competition in the newsletter!

This way AppGameKit would slowly build a good tool chain!!!
