Is there any way i can get rid of the "glow" that dynamic entities make? They look really out of place when im using static lights.. Is there any way i can add an effect or something to make them not glow? I have attached an example of a door..

Thank you!

Try removing the shader if it has one.
Other than that the only thing I can say is:
"It's dynamic, deal with it"

My plan for today: 1. Wake up. 2. Live 3. Go to sleep.

Dark Frager is correct. After months of hitting my head against the wall trying to figure out this problem I have just come to the conclusion that shaders work best on static entities or on dynamic entities that use an illumination shader and are intended to glow anyway. Otherwise they just look out of place. Lately I have been trying to use as many static entities as possible and tweaking the lighting, bloom settings and using shadows to achieve good looking graphics.

If you need an entity to be dynamic and don't want it to glow, just forget about using shaders. In my experience anyway...

Also, make sure the alpha channel in the spec map is black. If you turn all the lights off and the entity is still glowing then that is the problem.

But in general, dynamic entity shaders don't seem to respond properly to static lights.
