Hi, I have a Windows Mobile 6 MFC dialog based mobile application that I wish to convert to iPhone using the appgamekit.

Is it possible to have different screens/dialogs using the appgamekit.

For example I will have the following:
1. A main screen with logo. The user presses a 'begin' button.
2. This launches a 'main menu' screen with 5 menu buttons.
3. Each of the main menu buttons will launch a different screen.
4. etc etc

Is this screen navigation possible with appgamekit? I will be using the c++ version so is there any example code of how this is done?

As it's a programming language, you can do anything you want!

You'll have to use sprites for the ui elements but you can do anything you want!

AGK is sprite based. It does not use iOS' UI. So you will have to draw iOS like buttons & a pine stripe background in your paint program, and simulate an iOS app using sprites!

Alternatively if you're HTML proficient there are much better and easier options (not with AGK).

I do not need an iOS style app, I need the following :

1. Ability to move from one screen to another.
2. List box.
3. Check boxes.

Is it possible to make my own list & check boxes using AppGameKit??

Thanks

You can make your own gadgets with AppGameKit sprites and text no problem. In the time it has taken to answer these forum posts, I could have written one I have a funny feeling someone might write such a set of gadgets, and maybe that coder would want to sell their efforts for a small fee - I think they would make a few quid...

I drink tea, and in my spare time I write software.

If someone could write such a set of gadgets and put them up for sale, then it would be great.
But you have to realise that people who are new to AppGameKit would not be able to do this quickly, hence asking the questions on here.
Thanks.

I think you are the guy who should make a few quid then .

This is the only feature delaying me purchasing the AppGameKit as my app must have these features

Thanks.
