If have a small peice of code:

When it reads the first byte of the file and prints it to the screen, it prints in ASCII format. Is there a command in DBP that convert ASCII to the actual byte?

I want it to print the actually symbol ( instead of the ASCII version.

Thanks in advance

Yes, CHR$(ascii) will return the ascii character.
