hello, I was wondering if there was a software of some sort that converts a dbo object to a 3DS format. If there is not one out there, is there a .x to .3DS converter? thank you for your help

You could try with deep exploration. I don't know if it is free though .

No, Deep Exploration can't convert from .dbo to .3ds and this program is not free.

Deep exploration converts .x to .3ds that's what I mean

Anyway we can convert from .dbo to .x if the object is static. Whe can use command make object from limb , make mesh from object , save mesh . Finally we can load them again and give texture.

You could use FrapMOTION. Its a nice animation program that an open and save .dbo as well as many other formats. I think it is like $50 but I got my moneys worth out of it.
