This is a game I've been working on for too long. It is a demo at the moment. I've mostly finished the core of the game with the first area done. There is many small things that need added or tweaked but it should work very similar to the final.

Please play the entire demo and let me know of any glitches, crashes, or even changes you think would help the game. The demo is over when you finish the arena quest. But there is a tutorial, mini-quest, and two main quest to complete in all.

Thanks and please post and let me know your thoughts.

Just to be a bit more thorough:

Cons:
- Several spelling mistakes
- Use of keyboard arrow keys would be nice in addition to the mouse control
- Menu rollovers seem to be out of alignment
- Can't enter buildings? Not sure if you're meant to, so maybe not
- Player icon arrow doesn't change direction with you as you move

Pros:
- AWESOME ambiance to the game
- Love the music
- Really easy to get around
- Great story and overall presentation

So well done!

@CumQuaT
Thanks lots for the feedback! It is definitely a WIP but just trying to learn to do stuff.

Some buildings you can but for the most part no. Trying to keep it simple mostly so the game will be finished without being too messy on the code. And the icon will eventually be a animated mini-character.

This is a re-make of an earlier version, which I will soon re-make this one. So it can only get better at least.

The next update will be when it is finished. Shouldn't be too long from now but there is many things me and my brother want to add. There are five areas in total, but most of the art, enemies, and story plans are finished just need programmed into the game.(check images folder for a look)

Quote: "- Several spelling mistakes
- Use of keyboard arrow keys would be nice in addition to the mouse control"

This will be fixed and added.

Quote: "- Menu rollovers seem to be out of alignment"

I've had this problem when testing with my brothers laptop. I don't know how to fix this but seems to happen when moving the mouse during execution. It's a DBP problem as of what I know. Running the game in a window fixes the problem. But it also distorts the images if expanded, being 800x600.
