- comes up with user function declaration must us no space, no numerical first character and must include a set of brackets.

i am confused and need help

The error message sounds pretty clear to me. The key words to note here are "no space". You have a space between your function name and the parenthesis. Also, "endfunction" is one word and not two as you've written it.


All the functions you're calling you've created with spaces in them, you can't have spaces in function names.

I don't think .gif works anymore... especially if it's a .gif animation.

Carlass92, you should be using .png for all your graphics. .pngs allow us to use transparencies and keep the colors exactly as they started... .jpgs always change the colors so they're horrible for games.
