EDIT: This is indeed a shader problem, not a problem with textures or segments.

For the current game I'm working on in FPSC, the skybox is completely white. Additionally in the game, collections of platforms are contained within segments so as to disable the player from seeing where they need to go too early. The segments I am using to do this have textures of pure white (R:255, G:255, B:255). However when testing the game the segments show up as a gray color even though I also have white fog on and a white ambiance at level 100. I have included a picture to properly display what my issue is. My goal would be if the same picture were taken with the problem fixed, the picture would be pure white.

Actually, I browse around the boards just to critique stories to make them more original, it seems that many are doing the "Shoot everyone in your sight"

The engine appears to be shading them.

AKA the in-game lightning engine is causing a shadow to fall on your blocks.

I assume you can write a shader-script that would tell the engine to not do that.. but its not my area of expertise.

I recently tried the default shader files on the segment in question. However now the segments that do not have any shader files appear too dark. I have also tried adding lights to the level and while it resolved the coloration of normal segments, it makes the white segment an odd pixelation of varying degrees of white and black as a texture. Is there any way to maintain that the white segment remains completely white while any normal segment would still have the same light level without shaders? I have an included picture showing pictures of both scenarios. The picture at the left shows the game with shaders while the picture at the right shows the game without shaders.
