Hi everyone,

I was wondering if I could hire a modder to make some small modifications to FPSC v118, nothing too complicated here's just what I need..

- Action to adjust Player Speed
- (PlrAccMult) action "similar to that in PB Mod"
- (PLRWOBBLE) effect
- Adding an option to fade out huds (with or without) animating to the top
- an option to disable player jumping (not just adjusting jump height)

these are the main options that I need, let's see how much will they cost first and then think of these options as well

- Camera Actions "similar to those in PB Mod"
- Bullet trace effects (simple nothing fancy)

that's all for now..
Thank You..

These ones are relatively simple, so not much.

That would depend on how robust you want it to be.

I just added non-exploding flak to V119, (http://code.google.com/p/fpscreatorengine/source/detail?r=458) so that should be a good solution to bullet tracers.

If you want, shoot me an email and we can discuss.

Hi,

If you're interested, everything you have asked for is already coded into the forthcoming WASP pro.

@hockeykid: TY so for replying, can you just plz give me a primary estimate or range for the price, I mean are we talking in a (10-20$) budget, more, less? cause based on that I may actually require some more simple mods..

btw regarding the non-exploding flak I really can't wait for v119 final and in fact I feel great about v118 so I might consider adding this feature to the current mod..

@Scene Commander: actually I don't want to crowd the engine with stuff I don't need I'd rather keep it simple

Everyone is different but it's pretty standard for contractors to have a base minimum pay even on small jobs, otherwise it really isn't worth it. I, personally, wouldn't even bring up my editor for $10-$20. Again, everyone is different, and my rule is either entirely free or full-price. Otherwise, you start setting precedents for yourself that can quickly be taken advantage of by others.

But I am basing this on my experience doing sound design and video editing work. Maybe the rules are different for coders.
