Why don't you make a studio software to create models in?

Too much effort? there is enough software out there for modelling.

VanB has a modeller in the pipeline (written in DBpro).

I awoke in a fever. The bedclothes were all soaked in sweat.

But wouldn't it be great for the TGC to create a modelling studio, because they could make it as a sort of add on for DBPro, with an easy interface special designed for people who create games, they could also include part which creates .bsp maps. I think that it would be easier having a program that does everything, rather than tonns of programs that do their own little thing.

Sounds like you need "3D Canvas". Never used it, but it's probably what you're looking for.

Can I ask you a Question?
What is it?
It's an interrogative form of sentence, used to test knowledge. But that's not important right now.

VANmesh is on hold till next year, It's designed squarely as a one-stop modelling solution, not promising it'll support animation - but it'll certainly have really cool UV editing and 3D painting tools as well as a fresh approach to low poly modelling.

Thank-you in advance.

I hate 3D Canvas too....actually the only modeling program I have found to my liking in Wings3D (http://www.wings3d.com) It's interface is so much more intuitive to me than most. It doesn't have animation though, but I registered CharacterFX for that.

It would be nice if they would put out a model/animation/texture package at a reasonable price that interfaced nicely with DB/DBpro and had the ease of use of Wings. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
