Hi: I just wanted to know if any one can tell me if t.ed terrain editor can be used with fpsc. Thanks for any help

Sure it can be used but it will kill performance, there will be a lot of collision errors and characters will probably not work at all. Especialy DarkAI characters

Yes. It can be used. Watch your tessellation (poly count) and size. A 512 x 512 piece is 5x5 segments. That size can be brought in as a segment through the segment maker in the files section. It is also great to make cliff sides for barriers and large rock formations that you might not want the player or characters to walk on. Those can just be brought in as static entities. Use it right and it's great. Use it too liberally and your frames will suffer (just like any other modeling program).

It will work, but to get the FULL terrain to work you'll need to manually divide it into chunks I'm afraid.

Ofcourse using Raymond's technique would likely be better, use it to create some rock structures, small hills, trenches etc. and you can get some fairly realistic environments as well. Just don't overdo it or try to make a giant terrain with it, as it'll like go awry one way or another.
