What language do you speak?

Because this made absolutely no sense. Did you use a translator?

I think it's got to be a translation, but if you swap "step" for "level", the text makes a bit more sense.

It sounds like they want to remove the player's weapon when they start a new level. This is possible, either by adding resetplrweapons into the setuplevel.fpi or creating a trigger zone that contains a simple script such as:

Quote: ":state=0:resetplrweapons,state=1"

I do worry about new forum members who make their name the same as the title of their first post...

Quote: "Hello everyone,

How do I make it so that whenever I enter a new level inside my game, the player's weapons are reset? Currently when you reach a new level the player gets to keep his/her weapons, and I don't quite like this behaviour for my game.

Thanks for your help in advance!"

I think that's what he wanted to say, anyways.. Ched's method is the way to go. There's no such option by default, so you'll have to tweak either the level setup procedure slightly, or add a triggerzone.

Setuplevel.fpi is in files\languagebank\[YOUR LANGUAGE]\gamebank\mygame . If you make this change, I believe that it will reset your guns EVERY LEVEL. Also, you will have to pick up your gun off the floor, as it will reset your weapon at the start of the level.

A trigger is a trigger zone. It is the purple cube in the editor. In the editor, click on markers on the menu on the left and scroll down near the bottom. You'll see a "Trigger Zone" with a purple cube above it.

Hope this helps!

Hi CHANGE WEAPON,

In addition to what Captain Coder wrote Trigger Zone it is a small or big area in game level that, when the player or NPC (non playable character) is inside will start up or stop any action in the current game, for example it will make a fog or water, spawn other characters and so on.

Cheers.
