Does any know of a free installer that can deal with merge modules when a program is installing. Alternatively, is there a program to extract the files out of merge module files ?
Yes, I really am THAT good...

Nope none... they're InstallShields baby - wanna use them you have to pay.

U-N-L-E-S-S--- you know C++ quite well and don't mind downloading a 1.2Gbyte SDK.
Windows Core SDK 1.1 comes with the support for InstallShields products including thier MergeModules and templates for them.
But trust me, really isn't anything you would want to take on lightly as it will require alot of skill especially Database based.

I managed to get hold of Microsofts free installer, which can deal with Merge Modules. Bit of a pain to use, but it does what I wanted it to do...

Good news everybody! I really am THAT good...
