hello, I would like to make a program that would integrate c++ 2008 MS express with dbpro by transfering info between each other. I know there is the GDK but my use of C++ will not really work with the GDK. Can anyone please show me a basic code of how file mapping works on the 2008 MS express in C++ (char, int, string's, etc.). If not at least tell me where to start on that, thank you very much!!

Sounds like you want to learn C++ not integrate it with DBPro.

I posted plenty of C++ code in this thread:
- look at my upload on the 17th Feb and the extra code on the 5th March.

There's DBPro code in the upload too, and that required my plug-ins to compile.

Ok I did look at that c++ code and tried it out with my DBpro code (with file mapping), and it works except for one thing. When I create the file mapping in DBpro and have the C++ read it... well it detected it but it will not display the string I stored in the file mapping. (again this error is with the C++ code) I am not saying the code does not work but I do not know how to use it (maybe I am not setting the right position to read in the file mapping). Again thank you for helping me
