For 3D rendering, I've been using AC3D, but it does not let me create animations. I downloaded Art of Illusion to be able to make those, but that software won't export into a format I can use with DBPro...

Is there a good converter available either free or inexpensively that can convert the .OBJ files from Art of Illusion into either .3ds or .x so I can use it in my game? I've been searching on the net for a long time and can't seem to find one.

Thanks. I checked out Quick3D and I might try out the trial version, but it looks like they don't support animation for .x or .3ds, but I think the format to which they do output animation is still supported by DBPro, so it might still work.
