Hi, Ive owned FPSC for a couple of years now but Ive only just got back into it. Updated to the latest version, Started out a few test levels to get used to the engine again but im having some serious trouble with lighting and shadowing.
Created a simple scene, a room, with a light in the corner, and a barrel entity. Scaled the lighting down as to have shadows fade in the unlit part of the room and hopefully cast some sort of shadow from the barrel. Loaded the game up but there's no shadows in the corners not from the entity. I have all of the Shader effects, lightmapping etc on, and set to best quality but I see no shadows being cast at all.
Changed the ambient lighting down but again, no shadows being cast. I remember when I originally used to use it, back in 1.15 I think, there was still at least blob shadows from entities but nothing now =/
Was wondering if you guys could help shed some 'light' on my problem. Ive ran through a million tutorials, the community guide etc but no solutions. I'm set on it being that im doing something wrong now =/ but i just cant see what.
