sync on

load image "runner.bmp",1

set sprite 1,0,0
`play sprite 1,1,14,100
`print "sprite frame ",sprite frame(1)
sync
loop
If that doesn't work you could try this.
sync rate 0
sync on
`create animated sprite 1, "runner.bmp", 7, 2, 1
load image "runner.bmp",1
sprite 1,100,100,1
set sprite 1,0,0
hide sprite 1
do
cls
paste sprite 1,100,100
`play sprite 1,1,14,100
`print "sprite frame ",sprite frame(1)
sync
loop
And if that doesn't work you should update to the latest version of DirectX.
Or you could try this.
sync rate 0
sync on

And if that doesn't work.... I don't know???
