Dark GDK / Adding a font using AddFontResourceEx

Ok so ive read a few posts and about using certain fonts and ive read you need to use AddFontResourceEx.
I need to have this font being called from my game, as i dont expect every1 that plays the game to install the font.
Ive tried a few ways and i cant seem to find how to use it

so ive got


How would i set this using "dbSetTextFont();"

You'll have a problem with:
"font//MarioFont.ttf"

I think you mean:
"font/MarioFont.ttf",
or else
"font\\MarioFont.ttf",

They are both the same as far as Windows is concerned.
