I'm finally back, I've been in Berlin for 1 week, that's also why I haven't posted anything in my other thread, the "Open Source Shooter". Anyway, I was inspired to make an
Asteroids remake after playing the original
Asteroids on the Atari from 1979 at a museum in Berlin. I've been working on this for 1 week, and here it is. Only thing left to do is online mode, and to create an online high score board.
This project will be open sourced once completed.

-Aliens don't give powerups any more, they appear randomly (fly into them to pick them up)
-Bug fix where you couldn't shoot an asteroid when out of screen
-Bug fix where you could get multiple shields
-Bug fix where sounds wouldn't play
-Bug fix where you could have a shield even after you died
-Added timer for asteroids. If you don't shoot asteroids for a long time, you proceed to the next level. Prevents you from staying in one level to shoot the aliens that randomly spawn and score an "infinite" score
