Does AppGameKit have support for writing apps with a UI e.g. Scrolling date picker, Lists etc

Of all the things I've lost, it's my... my... oh darn it.

@ MikeHart: Is it possible in Tier 2?

AGK itself does not support native UI elements. But Tier2 is the real thing with a support lib called AGK. The question is how you can combine these two. My question to you is, what do you want to do actually? Using picker wheels and lists in a game, with their native look... that would like kinda weird.

That's a good question but I'm sure someone will find a reason to combine the two.

It was just a question in general but I see your point about using picker wheels in a game.

The reason for asking is because there are other mobile development kits available similar to the AppGameKit which are designed to allow the developer to program in a scripting type language to speed the game development but they also have libraries for creating mobile apps with UI controls.
Those other libraries potentially have the edge over the AGK.

One UI element that might be useful in games is the alert message.

I still have to check how these fit in tier2

Yes, a virtual keyboard is supported.

As for the UI aspect, AppGameKit is almost a month old, give it time. You can't expect all to be done on day one.

Many people want 3D, Android, Web formats, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry support and even more commands and IDE improvements as well, it takes time for something that big to be worked out.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither has been any quality tool including AGK.

App Game Kit (A.G.K.) - Want to be creative on many platforms at once? This is the tool you need.

Android and 3D certainly get my vote.
It would be good if UI components were considered for future features. Guess we will have to wait and see.
