all models buyed on TGC can be used in other engine. but if they haven't buy it then this is illegal. but as i know the model pack can be used out side of fps creator.

I thought the model packs can only use in TGC's products like Dark Basic or FPSC X9/X10.

Nope, you buy the license, you can do almost anything you want with it, apart from redistribute the assets.

So here is what I done with textures from castle pack:

As you see in another game engine my result was so much better than FPSC.(It is only a test to show you)

But this only shows that FPSC's render is not as good as other game engines and you can buy model packs from TGC but do not use TGC's game engines and this is not good.
Anyway until a moderator doesn't tell me the model pack's license is not only for using in TGC's products I don't finish this topic.

Why don't you read the lisence yourself? Last I recall (mp1-40 ish) could all be used outside of FPSC so long as you didn't sell the media itself in any way or shape.

you are allowed to use fpsc model packs in other game engines. there was talk of actually making them compatible with engines like torque, and other indie game engines. wich i think is a great idea because you could make more money having a bigger sales base.

I wish folks would actually read the license that comes with media.
Below is the first paragraph of the TGC Game store license:
This document represents an irrevocable offer made by the Seller (as defined below) to the Customer (as defined below) to enter into a legally binding contract on the terms described below.

This offer is irrevocable and may be accepted at any time by the Customer notifying the Seller of its acceptance of the offer. Notification may be made by sending an email to the email address below with the full name of the Customer in the subject line followed by the words "accepts the commercial licence terms for ...whatever model you purchased".

Yes you can use the models commercially but you must send off the e-mail to do so, dont go on at me I didn't write this stuff.

I am also willing to bet this gets overlooked:
Retrictions
The Customer represents to the Seller that the Customer is either a body corporate or an individual of at least 18 years of age.

Since under 18's will be using parents to purchase assets I actually have no idea how the purchaser stands as regards to user (the designer). Since your not going to be creating anything commercial (well not mass production anyhow, if your selling ten copies to friends its hardly commercial)and till your able to set up an account to place your sales cash into and sell a zillion copies its all pretty much to cover any real companies with a fairly generic license.

Bottom line: yes you can use the assets in other engines, but if you want to use it commercially, you need to accept the license first.

Rolfy, that's assuming they're using TGC Store media. It might be a model pack, which has a different, yet somewhat similar included.

Yeah, I am just quoting an example. The purchaser needs to read the license for any media they buy, no point in asking someone else around here.
I could understand if someone doesn't understand a certain clause and wants to clarify something, thats fine, its not anyones job to read it for you. All your going to get is a bunch of misinformed speculation.
The OP appears to be asking if this use of these models in another engine is legal, it depends entirely on the license obviously, most if not all of bond's media is available in packs and on the store, so which is which, hard to tell.
