using dbpro.
So i was wondering if anyone else has used ted and successfully exported a working x file.
i bought ted and didnt now that it wasnt game creator software seems to be little support for it

ive tred different ways of exporting and heres 2 screen shots . either i get a textured terrain or i get a color blended terrain i cant seem to get them together unfortunately

left image just does the coloring/blending and right image is straight textures cant zoom in on the left image and see any texture detail like grass just green

Have you tried set blend mapping on obj,second_texture,5 ?

yeah its kinda a complicated situation though one export option does a supertexture witch is the detail less one. i is chopped into four pieces or four images and one object. i dont know how to set image blending to an object if its is at all possible with four separate images in correct orientation and positioning i know ted can export to fps creator as well but the file typs are diff unfortunately

the program spits out several white lm files a few hieghtmaps light map and ect. +four shaders images in pieces . the other options does simular but only spits out the textures raw bmp and its includes them internally no code needed to load images in either case tried the set blend though possible im doing it wrong but i dont think so

while i got some peeps attention is there a good terrain software that has a large amount of support /client base

Lots of people are making terrain programs at the moment. Most of them are easy to use. Find one with a bump / height map they are easy to use. I just draw the map in Photoshop, and guess. That's good enough for me.
