Using AC3D I created this Axe and used Gimp 2 to create the textures you see on it. This is my very first attempt at 3D modelling a complete object from scratch as well as my first attempt at creating a texture from scratch. All opinions/suggestions are very welcome and much desired. Feel free to use this in any way you want, if it's worth using. Thanks!

Could we please have a screenshot?

My Mind is very odd, it can memorize hundreds of commands, memorize 2 dictionary's worth of words, and make detailed 3D models. Yet my mind has trouble with the most simple calculations.

That looks pretty good for the first! The model structure is very good and you have a pretty decent texture going on there, good job!

Too embarrassed to say! Wonder what I should try next though, I definitely need to practice.

Thanks Quik! I say I need to practice because it took several hours to get it to that point, but I learned a lot by getting my hands dirty instead of looking for tutorial after tutorial, which I speant almost as much time doing. I'm quite happy about the way it turned out myself, I just wasn't sure really how many noob mistakes are there or what all might be wrong with it. Thanks again!

A different handle texture would work magic on this

Matter is energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively Theres no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and were the imagination of ourselves.

How about this texture. Not my creation, but then again it's better that way, at least for now. I found the texture here, which is the Blender CD bundle that has been released as public domain.
