Hi all

How can I insert a trigger zone designed by me in the library along with others?
I can't understand where do I put it.

Thank you, Tax

If anybody figures it out, please let me know. I've tried to make some before but couldn't. I think they are hard coded to the editor right now so it may take a source MOD to do it.

Brian.

A marker is just another entity. The 15 markers in the _markers directory are hard coded in the editor. You will notice that if you add a new entity, this directory is hidden. Just put the markers in a new folder in the entitybank directory. They will function as markers even though there not in the markers tab.

You can make a 'simple' box model (reasonably small),give it a transparent texture, give it a 'Player within distance Script (vary the distances in script) with collision turned 'OFF' in the script.

This is a good way to make your own Trigger Markers with different scripts.
I know this works OK because I used this method for some precise 'Hurt Zones' for 'Model Pack 41'.

I hope this helps and all the best of luck.
