Hi,

I'm developing a game that's very dependant on just about every GUI gadget you can think of. Most of which I've done. I'm basically creating a palette of gadgets in functions for use later on. I'm currently making a 3D model viewer which is to be used within my window system.

Basically i want to be able to render a fullscreen 3D scene, with D3D drawing the GUI, which includes a window. Within this window I'd like a view of a second camera in a small area. The problem I'm having is it renders both cameras, then draws all of the GUI, making the window go infront of the second camera's output. I can see it as the window is slightly transparent.

Nevermind, I've cracked it by rendering the second camera to an image and pasting the sprite in.

Edit: Does anyone know how to render the image without the background colour? ie with alpha?
