Hello everyone, I was wondering if a top down shooter is possible in dark basic pro? If so can someone give me some advice as to how to do it? Something like SAS zombie assault is what i'm looking for.

I would like to make the mouse rotate the player, gun facing, and when clicking to create a bullet, upon exiting the screen length delete it, if hits something delete it etc. I would like a map bigger than the actual screen so would I have to move the map or the screen, what's a way to do that? (trig with the mouse positions?)

If I move the map, how would AI's be moved (I'm assuming the player will be static)?

Hi BeastDeath.

This sort of thing is probably more suited to the DBpro Newcomers forum, rather than this one.

But the commands you want to be looking at are as follows:

If you look these up and have a play around you'll have everything you need to get started with a working prototype. (Aside from your basic IF/THENs, FOR/NEXTs, arrays, etc) but if you don't actually know any coding yet, the people in the DBpro newcomers forum are a great bunch and will help you get started!
