Just wondering of this is possible, or if there's more to decompiling/recompiling than I'm seeing...

Well, without emulation I'd say it would be pretty difficult judging that DBPro compiles using DirectX 9.

Then its unsuitable as a DBPro replacement

I would look to another language for that sort of cross platform development as DBPro isnt upto it as it stands and AppGameKit doesnt allow 3d yet.
