Hi,
I'm attempting to develop a 3D ship simulator, something along the lines of ShipSim08 (although No-were near as complex)
However, i've never coded DarkBasic professional before. Yes, I know i'm trying to run before I've been born, but thats just the way I work
So, I was woundering, If anyone knew of a simple way of generating a 3D ocean (i've looked at the various code snippet's avalible on this forum) that also has bouyancy and collision? I've tried using A code snippet as a base, however, whenever I try to encorperate bouyancy into the equation the ocean no longer animates, or I give up and sulk in the corner...
So, anyone got any Ideas?

I would post the code i've tried using, but all i've done is deleted a few bits.

well if you can't make it all yourself from scratch, you need more practice buddy

There's a search box at the bottom of each forum page. Took me about 60 seconds to find this example:

It may not be the best, or the fastest, but it should be a good starting point for you

Hope this helps!

You could use an animated mesh, or better yet, a ocean shader.
