I'm sure this has a simple fix, but it's very annoying... Every time I use LOAD ANIMATION to load in an MPG file to play, it comes up in a new window called "ActiveMovie Window" instead of just playing in my program. Does anyone know how to stop that happening?

From what I can gather through forum search it seems it has something to do with codecs. Not sure if you made the movie or not but it may give you something to look at. It seems this "ActiveMovie Window" opens when the codec used does not work with directX.

Your signature has been erased by a mod please reduce it to 600 x 120.

Yes you need to convert your video's to a microsoft avi codec. Not played with video for awhile now but I had the same problem.

Right! That should help, though I'll get a considerable quality loss I had rendered the video as a standard Mpeg2. I'll give it a go! Thanks!

Aha! Encoding it as a high-bitrate WMV file sorted it out! Thank you!
